Wesley Ann “Wes” Toppert-Polen ​serves as the chief operating officer for Dan Shomon Inc. She has been managing the day-to-day operations since 2005. Born and raised in upper Rock Island County, Illinois, Wes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from the University of Southern California, and a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management. Wes resides in Vernon Hills with her husband, Scott, and their two children. She was recently elected to the Hawthorn Community School District 73 School Board.
